All P.S. 116 families must complete a School Meals Application at the beginning of each school year, regardless of whether they qualify for free or reduced-priced meals.
Breakfast is free for all public school students. If your child eats school lunch, and you do not qualify for free meals, you must submit a meal payment monthly to P.S. 116. You may do so by either dropping by the main office, or visiting:
www.mylunchmoney.com.*
Grades 3-5 Families
Scores from the 2010 New York State ELA & Mathematics exams will be available beginning
Monday, August 16th. To access your child's scores, you must visit:
ARIS parent link. When logging on, you will be asked for your child's student ID, which you can find this on his/her report card.

Thanks to NYChessKids, all K-3 students at P.S. 116 receive weekly lessons in curriculum chess. We would LOVE to have you and your child join us for the upcoming tournament at our school! If you've never been to a tournament, why not come over to see what they're all about?
